The wood can be protected in various ways, depending on the desired result. Rubio Monocoat has had Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector in its assortment with great success for years. It is a high-quality oil that protects and colours the exterior wood in one coat. Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector is available in 20 colours.

Rubio Monocoat Exterior Soap is a soap with a cleaning and nourishing action. This product is used to clean external wooden surfaces, which have been treated with an oil from the Rubio Monocoat exterior assortment.

Rubio Monocoat Exterior Soap Ecospray is the handy, ready-to-use version of RMC Exterior Soap.

The combination ofRubio Monocoat Sunprimer HWPP with Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector gives an even more intense color and excellent protection of your outdoor wood but still with a natural look of the wood. Rubio Monocoat Sunprimer HWP is a water-based primer which limits the effects of UV light. It can be used as an optional primer when applying a finishing coat of the same color in Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector on vertical exterior wood.

ATTENTION: This product is a pre-treatment and does not protect the wood. It has to be combined with one of our Rubio Monocoat finishing products for maximum protection.

Rubio Monocoat Exterior Wood Cleaner is a product for the cleaning of wooden patios, fences, exterior doors, carports,... The product removes grey discolouration, green deposits and dirt.

Rubio® WoodCream is based on hydrophobic technology especially developed for maximum wood protection. Its unique and active self-cleaning formula intensely nourishes the wood, preserves the breathable structure, and makes it water-repellent, which results in a long-lasting pearl effect. Rubio® WoodCream is available in 27 colours to achieve a semi-transparent, aged or covering look. A transparent version is also available, which allows the wood to age naturally, but protects it and makes it water-repellent. Its cream structure makes this product easy to apply, especially on vertical wood.

To achieve a semi-transparent or aged look​ Rubio WoodCream must be mixed with Rubio® WoodCream Softener. Rubio® WoodCream Softener is also the ideal product for maintenance solutions on wooden surfaces treated with Rubio WoodCream.

Rubio® WoodCream Softener is the perfect Rubio® WoodCream partner. By mixing the two together you can create different colour effects. This way you can decrease the colour intensity of the existing Rubio® WoodCream colours to achieve a more transparent effect. Rubio® WoodCream Softener also offers the solution for fans of an instant aged look: mix one of the colours from the Grey Collection with Rubio® WoodCream Softener.

Rubio® WoodCream Softener is also the ideal product for maintenance solutions on wooden surfaces treated with Rubio WoodCream.

Rubio® WoodCream Softener must always be used in combination with Rubio® WoodCream. Do not use Rubio® WoodCream Softener on a standalone basis.

Rubio Monocoat Cleaner is a cleaner that guarantees thorough cleaning of the surface – after sanding and vacuuming – before treating it with Rubio Monocoat Oil.

Rubio Monocoat FR Oil System is the first fire-retardant oil system that has acquired a Bfl-s1 certification for oak.
The system combines a pre-treatment with the fire-retardant RMC FR Base and a finish with Rubio Monocoat FR Oil 2C.

What makes this fire-retardant system so unique?
› Oil, no film forming
Rubio Monocoat FR Oil System is based on our well-known molecular binding technology. This entails that the Rubio Monocoat FR Oil forms a molecular bond with the wood's surface microns. This results in a durable protection without a build-up of layers.

› No salts
Research has shown that the content of salts can seriously limit the efficacy of flame retardant products. In contrast to many flame retardant systems, Rubio Monocoat FR Oil System does not contain any salts. This increases the durability of the system.

› Limiting the development of smoke
One of the focusses during the creation of Rubio Monocoat FR Oil System was the limitation of smoke development. Statistics have proven that smoke dramatically reduces the chances of saving people caught up in a fire situation. Our system's smoke production achieved an s1 classification for smoke formation. This is a clear indication that our system is also safer in this area.

Fumed is a tannin reactive product that is used on oak woods. It replicates the aged grey look of wood without causing any toxic fumes or vapors. The aged look achieved by using Fumed allows for the creation of unique looks and effects.
