The wood can be protected in various ways, depending on the desired result. Rubio Monocoat has had Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector in its assortment with great success for years. It is a high-quality oil that protects and colours the exterior wood in one coat. Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector is available in 20 colours.

Rubio® WoodCream is based on hydrophobic technology especially developed for maximum wood protection. Its unique and active self-cleaning formula intensely nourishes the wood, preserves the breathable structure, and makes it water-repellent, which results in a long-lasting pearl effect. Rubio® WoodCream is available in 27 colours to achieve a semi-transparent, aged or covering look. A transparent version is also available, which allows the wood to age naturally, but protects it and makes it water-repellent. Its cream structure makes this product easy to apply, especially on vertical wood.

To achieve a semi-transparent or aged look​ Rubio WoodCream must be mixed with Rubio® WoodCream Softener. Rubio® WoodCream Softener is also the ideal product for maintenance solutions on wooden surfaces treated with Rubio WoodCream.

Rubio® WoodCream Softener is the perfect Rubio® WoodCream partner. By mixing the two together you can create different colour effects. This way you can decrease the colour intensity of the existing Rubio® WoodCream colours to achieve a more transparent effect. Rubio® WoodCream Softener also offers the solution for fans of an instant aged look: mix one of the colours from the Grey Collection with Rubio® WoodCream Softener.

Rubio® WoodCream Softener is also the ideal product for maintenance solutions on wooden surfaces treated with Rubio WoodCream.

Rubio® WoodCream Softener must always be used in combination with Rubio® WoodCream. Do not use Rubio® WoodCream Softener on a standalone basis.
